GPS won’t lock / “GPS Ready” never appears

The pre-start screen shows a GPS Ready status once your watch has a usable fix. If it’s stuck on “Connecting…”:

The app keeps re-asking for a permission I already granted

This usually means the app was reinstalled (a new TestFlight build counts as a fresh install to iOS) or the permission changed in Settings. Check Settings → Privacy & Security → [Health / Location / Motion & Fitness / Bluetooth] on your iPhone and re-grant if needed.

My watch and phone aren’t syncing

Workout, route, and settings sync happens through your own iCloud account, not a direct watch-to-phone connection. If a workout isn’t showing up on your phone:

Offline maps are taking up too much space, or won’t download

Offline map regions are stored per-device — on your phone under Plan → Offline Maps, and synced to your watch automatically. If a region download fails or seems stuck:
